Shawn Stasiak Career

Shawn Stasiak started wrestling in 1996 in Pacific Coast Championship Wrestling. He soon got a WWF development deal and was sent to Power Pro Wrestling, where he stayed until he was called up to the WWF in 1999 to wrestle as Meat, the boy-toy for the "Pretty Mean Sisters" of Terri Runnels, Jacquelyn and Ryan Shamrock.

The gimmick only lasted a few months before he split from them and returned to his first ring name. He had a brief feud with Kurt Angle before he was suspended for secretly taping locker room conversations in December 1999.

He was fired soon after and went to WCW in 2000, where he joined the "New Blood" and feuded with Curt Hennig. He was called "Perfect" Shawn Stasiak in a ripoff of Hennig's "Mr. Perfect" gimmick.

In June, he formed the team "The Perfect Event" with Chuck Palumbo and they won the WCW World Tag Team Titles. Their main feud was against "Kronik" (Brian Adams & Bryan Clark).

In August, Stasiak and Palumbo helped form the Natural Born Thrillers with Mike Sanders, Johnny the Bull, Reno, Mark Jindrak and Sean O'Haire. They were briefly "coached" by Kevin Nash.

He and Palumbo won the Tag Titles two more times and they switched partners with O'Haire & Jindrak, Stasiak receiving Jindrak.

In January 2001, the Thrillers broke up and Stasiak acquired the services of Stacy Keibler as his valet. He also started a feud with Bam Bam Bigelow that was winding up when WCW was purchased by Vince McMahon.

Stasiak was briefly part of The Alliance that invaded the WWF. He was also briefly paired with Stacy but was not booked right, since nobody in the WWF could forget his taping incident and the fans could not forget that he was Meat.

In late 2001, he was sent to the Heartland Wrestling Alliance but he did get called up to the WWE RAW brand in March 2002 as Planet Stasiak. He traded the Hardcore title several times with Steven Richards, Justin Credible, Bradshaw and Tommy Dreamer and then he was fired again.

Stasiak then retired to become a chiropractor.
